I gave JEE MAINS examination but didnt score well in that . I got around 80 marks while the cutoff was of 105 marks. But due to the CBSE board examinations , i was able to take admission in this wonderful college . I chose this college due to its best placements from other colleges . Companies prefer this college for their placement drives as there are very bright students studying around here.

I am a first year student so i have no experience to internship and all . But as discussed with seniors the internship and stipend offer is much much better that the rest of the colleges in north india . companies like wipro , microsoft , google has visited and offered their packages to the final year students.

In terms of the placement it is one of the best college of north india . Even the top companies like Google and microsoft visit and takes students from this college .The traning and placement department of the college is very hard working they try their best to place each and every student.

CGC conducts many attractive events such as parivartan fest , fresher's party etc. these events give a golden opportunity to express their talents in whatsoever field . The fee structure is very simple like its 47k for 1st semester and hostel extra .( i am a day scholar so i don't know about hostel ). Then 43k from 2nd semester . The transportation fees is according to the location of students and teachers place . for example 17k from landran to chandigarh.

Scholarships are provided to students having a good performance details as in 10th , +2 and in the sessional examinations . there are 100% scholarships offered to extra ordinary students also . i dont have a cue for any kind of loans availability .

Infrastructure of our college is very good, library ,canteen etc are well maintained. Sports facility is not so good as there's only volleyball,badminton and basketball ground. badminton court is open also they have net practice ground for cricket. Buildings are very well designed .fests such as parivartan are kept such that the robotics or any mechanical projects prepared are shown up in these events .debates and other curricular activities are organised in auditorium frequently .

As i am a day scholar so i dont know about hostel but as per my friends , hostels are good ,they are provided with every required facility such as wifi ,cooler , beds , wardrobe etc. the mess food is healthy and provided according to the needs . every wed

Once we get admission in this prestigious college ,we are made to fill up anti ragging form .This college is strictly against ragging. Even in hostels , there are CCTV cameras to keep a look at the situations . the seniors are polite and disciplined and respect each other . There is a positive environment in this college.

The exam timings are limited from 10 A.M. to 12 NOON. The examinations are held either in halls or in classrooms depending upon their importance and availablity . There are 3 sessional exams after 1 and a half month gap to keep students active and train t

Faculty of the college is really helpful and supportive . They are always there for us . For 1st year, the teachers assigned are themselves freshers. But for 3rd and 4th year, faculty is 'awesome'.The CRC dept. of the college is very well focused towards
