Remarks

As i said the college is good for students who hadn't scored much in CET, u can prefer this college as this is not at back in any case also. Its a good college for students scoring between 90-100, all things are good, the main festival Algeria which is very famous in Mumbai is carried out in this college, the avg placement is also 3.5 lacs/a, altogether it is a good college.

Entrance Preview

I got 91 in cet & felt it was vry opt college according to my score, i also preferenced this college due to my contacts with senoirs, they said classes can't be bunked here. U hv to attend which other colleges dont have, in case of strictness it is moderate here

Course Curriculum Overview

3

They promote research very much along with academics, they have a proper workshop in which u can refer things & issue them like books in library for projects & all, the mechanical machineries are awesome, the computer lab is also very good, if u have capability to do out of the box, they'll provide u with the source

Internships Opportunities

As im in first i dont know much about internship, but ya i have heard that few of them have got it, that means it is a college where u get opportunities to get an internship which many other colleges dont give

Placement Experience

3

The placement wing is well managed, many companis like accenture, infosys tcs visit for camous placements of about over 3 lac/an which is fair, & the placement varies with the companies & ur talent, try to learn more from college which will be beneficial to u at the time of ur placement

College Events

4

The major & the most awaited is the alegria, which is very famous in all mumbai colleges, it is very fun to be part of it, they also conduct freshers party for the 1 year students, they also celebrate national & regional festivals, celebrating tye day & all is also on

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible as it is just above 1 lac fora general students but obviously varies for lower casts, as it is malayali college the fees for malayali's are less, the fees is approximately same for all mumbai colleges , if can't cope with fees, u can take educational loan which is also available

Fees and Financial Aid

The loan facility is available for paying the fees, i don't know much abt it as parents deal with it but it is available

Campus Life

3

The gender ratio is equal in fact there are lot of girls in college specially malayali's in cs branch as there is always an exeption about girls in mechanical branch in every college, the sports is very promotive in fact the famous player suryakumar yadav of kkr is from this college

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The food is ok good types but not bad at all, the hostel fecilities for girls are nearby but for boys it is at a little distance from college but not so far,the hostel facilities are also good, u can refer dte site for proper institute intake of students for hostel for girls & boys

Alumni/Alumna

The alumi network in not very good still is not bad at all, if u want u can personally contact them, but the alumni system is not worth

Exam Structure

The exam structure is de- stressful, the conduct few unit tests before each semester to be prepared for it, which really helps students to score moderately on semesters, they dont provide with unnecessary things in exams, they focus on productive things, so keep thier exams up to the mark

Admission

I got admission here through mhcet score in which i got seat in second round of cap in cs branch, as i dont want 2 delay 4 the 3rd round, i got 91 in mhcet, i prefered pillai as a good college in accordance with my mhcet score, all infrastructure is good, sports ground & facilities are good, the mechanical drpartment students hv lot 2 learn , there is one laser 3d cutting there for projects & all which helps u alot

Faculty

3

The faculties are qualified & experienced for more than 5 years each , though u may get more malayali teachers, it's an advantage as they have more knowledge & thinking skills without any ego against any students, they are very supportive, u can access them easily based on ur doubts

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.
