You can take admission by giving JEE Mains by securing a percentile greater than 95% and there is a reservation for obc, sc, and st, but no reservations for girls due to which there is less number of girls in our college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is helpful and patient. They know their subject thoroughly and help all the students learn and achieve their potential. The teachers provide us with notes and help us out with our practical's all the time.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are very good here. They are much good in my college. The top recruiting companies for our course are Air India, SpiceJet, Indigo, Dhillon Aviation, Hi-Tech, etc. Roles offered in our course were designers and aircraft technicians. The salary package offered in our course varies from 30000-40000.
Placement Experience
Placement statistics of college are quite good, especially from my branch. Last year the highest package offered was 4300000. I am in my second year currently but due to the present scenario of lockdown, I was unable to do an internship. A companion that visited were Amazon, Samsung, Jp Morgan, Flipkart, Paytm, grocers, big basket, make my trip, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Morgan Stanley, and various others. Generally, there are various rounds for recruitment comprising tests and interviews. 98% of students are placed every year. Yes, the institutes provide proper guidance and help to prepare students for the placement season.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is comparatively high but since this is IIIT, you cannot expect anything less. The fee for the 1st semester is Rs. 112000/- and after that, for every odd semester the fee is Rs.98000/- and for every even semester the fee is Rs.98000/- and these are without hostel. The government provides scholarships.
Campus Life
There are mainly two events every year cultural events and technical events. Apart from these, there are various other small events like a hackathon, DJ night, and various other competitions. All these things help in all-around development. The events are quite big many other colleges participate in events.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for a hostel. It's a 3 seater room with 3 single beds and 3 study tables. It has no centralized air conditioning system available. There is no attached bathroom in every room. Paid Internet is available for every student. Weekly room cleaning service is available. The hostel fee for each student is 12000 rupees every month. Rooms are big and spacious with windows for fresh air.
