Remarks
I took admissions in Kelkar in 2014 after clearing my SSC exams. Ever since then I was joined there. I took my Bcom admissions through Inhouse Quota. However for externals students cut off was around 89% for Bcom (General). It is an Aided college so fees were low as compared to the other colleges. In less than Rs. 16000 I completed my whole course.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am also a CA student. So for CA students Bcom is the best option to choose as you have already studied everything in your CA- Foundation and Inter level. Faculty were not that good. I mean there was this guy who used to teach Maths for Bcom. He didnt look confident enough while teaching. He was too afraid to take doubts. So I can say faculty ain't that good. It wasn't difficult at all. Its a shame if you fail Bcom exams xD.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees were never an issue as it is an Aided college. However for scholarship, it was like you get scholarship only if you are reserved. Like most of the scholarships were for Reserved category kids and for General Categories they were like once in a bluemoon which came and went away and no one saw them xD. So I got no scholarship or no special financial assistance.
Campus Life
Life was awesome. Like if you aren't doing CA or some other professional courses with Bcom this college is the best for them. Dimensions is an annual fest which mostly takes place during Winters and is a major attraction of Kelkar College. For Books and Libraries I would say this college is the best. I did not even had to incur Rs.1 for my Bcom books. Library provided them for free to those who applied for it. Classroom is big but old xD. For Sports,,, Coaches suck. A fat guy with no physic was coaching a cricket team xD.
Other Applied Colleges
Mumbai University - [MU], Mumbai | Master of Commerce [M.Com] (e-Commerce)
Because it became autonomous xD
