The course curriculum here is based on recent industry requirements. They start making you placement-ready right from the first semester. All the faculty is highly qualified. 80% of the faculty is a Ph.D. holder. The first year will be of a small timeline. You'll be having your STs every other week and it will be a bit difficult for you to cope but even if you'll study a day before, you'll get to pass the exam.

The students get placed by their fourth year and they are offered internships in the same companies they get placed. Apart from that, the college provides the students with paid internships with a stipend of half the package the companies provide.

The placement of Chitkara is well known. Around 95% of the students get placed by the end of their fourth year. Companies start visiting the campus by the 3rd year. The average package for 2021 was around 6 lakh and the highest package was 30+ lakh. Companies like adobe Olx, Amazon, Infosys, and Accenture visit here every year.

The first-semester fee was 80000 when I joined the college and the rest of the semester fee is 70000. And apart from this, if you choose a hostel. The hostel fee is 33400 per semester, including mess. So you'll have to pay around a lakh, every semester. Talking about campus jobs, you'll not get any opportunity for a part-time job anywhere around here, because the college is in a village where you have to go 3 km to reach the highway and then travel for about 30 to 40 minutes to reach the town.

The campus life is good. But DJ nights and many other events keep happening every two or three weeks for student entertainment. There are many clubs here that keep doing events. Many sports and cultural events happen here. The college's fest, ALGORITHM happens every year. But it has not happened since I joined the college. I also have only heard about it. So anyways The minus point of the campus is that it is very small. Otherwise, if you have friends every place is nice.

For boys, the room is of 4 sharing and for girls, it is 2. But the girl's rooms are very small. There are common washrooms for boys but in the girl's hostel, there are attached bathrooms. In the girls' hostel, there are bunker beds. Hot water is provided in the morning from 7-9 am. They provide you an induction and a microwave. The hostel food here is good compared to other college's messes. Sometimes the food is not well but still, they are eatable. And No, there are not any options for PG in the nearby locality.
