Research is a cross-cutting theme at PHFI and spans across other six thematic focus of the training division at PHFI. Training in research includes training in quantitative and qualitative research, operational research, clinical research as well as training on ethics in research methodology.
Entrance Preview
It is not necessary that the candidate has to be of the medical background to be eligible to apply for this course. Candidates other than medicine, dentistry, nursing, ayurvedic, homeopathic, Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy have atleast 2 years of experience in health sector. Proficiency in English is desirable. Personal round of interview plays a vital role and importance for these kind of candidates.
Placement Experience
The key endeavour of Placement Cell at PHFI-IIPHs is to facilitate the employability of the students, enrolled for the PHFI's on-campus academic programs. The placement cell supports the placement process by identifying relevant career opportunities for those who are seeking placement assistance.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission in the college using this scholarship programme. The Emmes Scholarship Fund seeks to encourage students to choose, pursue and advance career and work in the area of public health. Thisscholarship (full/ half/ part) fund will be available to students enrolling for Master of Public Health (MPH) programs at IIPHs.
Faculty
Faculty with diverse disciplinary backgrounds, having national and international experience combined with a breadth and depth of public health expertise are teaching this course. They make sure that the students get best knowledge and share their experiences with them. Students are also given a lot of case studies so as to check their practical application of their knowledge.
