The academic programmes are a crucial channel of PHFI's mandate, which is to address the worrying shortage of trained and qualified human resources. Our priority is to build a strong public health system across the length and breadth of India. They aim to make education and research activities relevant in content and context to all of India, while attaining standards which are qualitatively comparable with the best in the world.
Entrance Preview
Interested candidates can apply online with required information. Eligible candidates would be screened, based on their application and statement of purpose by a specially constituted screening committee. Shortlisted candidates would then be interviewed and the final list will be announced. Final selection of the candidate is based on qualifications, relevant experience, statement of purpose and interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
Amazing lesson plan and course structure designed by the professors. Our programmes are world class in scientific content, delivery and most appropriate to the conditions of developing countries. The curriculum of each course is continuously updated to incorporate the latest advances in public health and to meet the changing needs of the students. The course fee is most reasonable and affordable for all the students.
Internships Opportunities
The unique internship programme in PGDCR course helps the students to get practical exposure in the field. The guidance by faculty members is incomparable. Stipend is given to all the students of Rs.9500 per month. Companies also give full time opportunities to few students at the end of the internship programme. We learnt a lot about the need of the public health in todays industry and I was very happy that I was pursuing it.
Faculty
Highly qualified and very friendly teachers of the college. The faculties covered all verbal, non-verbal, audio-visual types and different modes utilized for Health communication and Promotion. It was like a 3D power point presentation to us. This is an intense programme but the faculty made it easy for all the students to learn the subjects. The faculties are very dedicated towards the students and expect the same from students.
