Entrance exam took: AIEEE 2011, Rank: 75422I did my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics engineering from this very college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The complete course duration was divided into 8 semesters extending for 6 months each.
Internships Opportunities
Several companies visit the campus for paid as well as unpaid internships. Durgapur projects Limited, Alston, Honeywell are some of them. the stipend offered is not more than 3000 a month.

College Events
The college has its own student teacher coordination wing and NSS wing to organise different events. The months from February to April are normally dedicated to a series of events:February: Entrepreneurship week ( to encourage the entrepreneur within oneself)February: Aasha week ( for social cause and philanthropy)March: spots week ( football, volleyball, atheletics, basketball, cricket, kabaddi, khokho and badminton)March: Robotics eventApril: technical and cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is as per the rules declared by the state government for private and self financing institutions. At present it is RUPEES 36000 per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided under TFR(tution fee waiver) scheme to economically backward students and they are completely exempted from giving tution fees provided they are residents of West Bengal.
Campus Life
The campus life was pretty good in this college. One gets a lot to explore in all fields whether they are his extra curricular skills like sports, debates as well as academic skills.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are very good and one of the best in the region. 24 hours water and electric supply is available making it a comfortable stay. Internet is also provided in non-college hours. Mess food is average.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors were supportive and turned out as my very good friends. The strict anti ragging rules and convenient environment of the college makes it a comfortable stay with the seniors.
Exam Structure
Two sessional exams are held every semester and practical exams are taken separately. At the end of every semester, university exams are conducted. Students are judged on the basis of their overall performance in internal and university exams.
