A college with good placement and experienced faculty

Admission is done based on the rank obtained in WBJEE or JEE Main. Along with this, you have to pass 12th standard with 45% marks in Physics, Math and Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application. If you have a low rank in WBJEE or JEE Main then also you will get a seat in this college. To take admission to this college you have to participate in the counselling organised by WBJEE Board. 10% of total seats are also reserved as Management quota. The overall admission process is very smooth.

Our faculty members are very helpful and supportive in every aspect. They are always available to guide you, and there are some very knowledgeable teachers in our college. All the teachers have 10+ years of experience in teaching. The student-teacher ratio is 8:1. Our course curriculum is relevant to new batches. It is always updated as per the time. In every semester there will be 4 continuous assessments and 2 Practical assessments and a final sem exam. All the exams are easy to pass but if one wants to get good marks then he or she has to do hard work.

From the beginning of 3rd year, some companies like TCS, CTS, and Persistent came to our college providing internships to the students. Most of the internships are paid internships. During internships, students are offered data entry and software developer roles.

Placements were decent in our college. Around 75% of the students were placed in their final year. Students got placed in companies like Intel, TCS, CTS, Capgemini, Larsen and Toubro, Thought Works, ITC Infotech etc. Almost 100+ companies visit for campus placement in our college every year. The highest salary package offered is 11.5 LPA. The average CTC is 4 LPA. From the end of 3rd-year companies came for giving jobs to the students.

Total fees of 4 years are approximately 4.50 L. Students of our college get various Government and Private scholarships like SVMCM, OASIS etc.10% of students of each branch also receive the benefits of the Tuition fees waiver scheme. From our course, almost 70% of the students got placed with an average salary package ranging from 3.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies which visited here for recruitment were ThoughtWorks, Informatica, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Persistent, Byju's, Capgemini, ZS Associates, ITC, etc. Some product-based companies and also service-based startups visit here for placements. Companies which visited here mostly offer jobs for full time. Placements are started at the end of the 3rd year. Roles offered by the companies include mostly software engineer, software developer, associates, analyst, sales and marketing-related roles.

Our college is situated on the highway, and the facilities were good here. The canteen facility is also available, and there was a library. The library has a stock of 34000 books. But the Wi-Fi facility is not very good. However, classrooms and labs are well organised and always updated with new software. Our college doesn't provide a hostel facility, but we can get a mess nearby. Our college organises sports and games every year. Our college has a coding club, and a robotics club. Every year in the month of March Cultural and Tech fest are organised named Impulse and Bits2Bytes respectively.
