There are many faculties in VIT Chennai, every faculty teach around 60-65 students in a class. All the faculties own Ph.D. in their respective fields, the teaching method is also good as both PPTs and whiteboards are used to explain the concepts in a simple and good manner. The exam schedule is out just after the commencement of the sem, and the exam dates are fixed i.e. you already know the exam dates so it's a good thing. Passing marks is 40 out of 100 in the final FAT exam and in total, we need to score 50+ out of 100 marks. It is a bit difficult to pass the exams.
