Took WBJEE and ranked 1753 on 2009.Later took admission at JGEC.very good college for education.old and premier college in west Bengal to experience engineering life.

For good remarks is no one can go without any memorable days or situations from here. The location and nature is extremely good for studies but the main problem is this college is located far from Kolkata. Infrastructure and management need to upgrade. They should use free lands which are unused within the campus. N.B. Good college, good area, good weather and excellent natural view, Big campus ground, Seenic Tea garden

College provides many internship programme.The college is associated with many multinational companies as well as many private sector company who provide internship to the student. Like SAIL,Indian Railway,Gammon,L&T,SPCL,CTS,TCS,DVC,BEL,BHEL,WBPDCL,SEDCL,and many more .College offer full free ship stipned to the needy students.Many scholarship stipend offered by the alumini association.

90 percent students of cse it ece are placed at good companies.the name of the companies are tcs, wipro, lab-vantage, fusion chart, Ericsson, capgemini, spcl. They also provide a salary package of more than 4 lacks per year.mechanical civil electrical engineering stream got job in WBPDCL WBSEDCL DVC BEL ....and other good private organization...

Our college is full of events that is celebrated every year like: TECH-Fest, Cultural- fest , SOCIAL-fest and many more small events which was held every year in the college. Tech Fest: It includes inter college fest on robotics, coding & programming and also gaming contests. College from Sikkim, Siliguri and others from West Bengal came to this fest and participate in the tech fest. Cultural Fest: Many stage shows were held in our college by renowned artists and bands every year, we all awaits for this fest and enjoy the most. Social Fest: Blood donation camp , Night school camp and many other camps were held where we can do our social responsibilities for the people who are living among us.

Except information technology department . Every department fees is quite normal arround 3000 per year in it fees is 24000 per year. If you face a financial problems then college solved thisyou paying this when you get job.they provice half or full fees weiver to the needy candidate.

Alumni scholarship half fee/full fee wavier for poor students.apart from these education loan is available whereas required.

Campus life is the best part of this college. Although there are a very few girls with respect to the boys in our college still the campus is really a heavenly one. The students of this college actively participate in different activities. There are 9-10 registered club in our college like tech club, drama club, music club, trekking club etc. All the clubs do certain activity.There is a huge enthusiasm among students.Different cultural festival are there.

There are 5 hostels including a ladies hostel.it accommodates almost 70 percent of the college students. All facilities are available.fees are feasible. for 6 months its just 10k.and cook is very good provide every kind of necessary food.apart from these few local canteen available.

Few alumni helped in 4th year to have some secure job from college.they guided us very much to have some proper way of success.

Exam conducted by our university.Each Year having two semesters odd semester and even semester. Odd semester held in the month of june and even semester held in the month of december.apart form these different exam to evalute the knowledge of experience. thanks to teacher.

By wbjee 2009 got admitted in Jalpaiguri Government engineering college. Took mechanical engineering one of the best course they offered.very good workshop.very good faculty to learn engineering.very promising future can be earned by the college. i will say I miss my College and my college days. it was really a awesome 4 year experience for me.

JGEC offer the best faculty requrited by govt. Of west bengal.The college faculty is more preferable than other college they communicate with student in every problems and solved them.
