Eligibility-min 45% aggregate in class 12th with Physics, chemistry, and mathematics. If the student has appeared for comed-k or kcet they can apply for admission in DSCE from here - www.dsce.edu.in/admissions The admission process is smooth and very convenient even for students coming from outside Bangalore
Course Curriculum Overview
BE in computer science and engineering has the most no. of placements in DSCE. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:50 for all semesters which makes the interactions much easier. Most teachers have completed their doctorate degrees and the teaching methodology is up to the mark. Exams were on time even during covid. Term exams were moderately difficult and anyone can easily pass the exams by studying even at the last minute
Internships Opportunities
Brane enterprise has offered an internship on campus for more than 100 students with a stipend of 10 - 15k. They have multiple roles like java developers, DevOps, cloud, and AI. They started recruiting in 4th semester.
Placement Experience
Companies start visiting the campus for placements for 6th sem students. Amazon, Rapido, Zscalar, etc. offer more than 22LPA. The highest package is 43 LPA, 7 LPA average. 87.5 % of students placed in the 2022 batch I plan to get a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Comedy students have no scholarship eligibility as per the state government however they can get benefits considering their financial condition and family backgrounds (es). KCET students have much less fee compared to COMEDK. COMEDK ~ RS. 240,000 per year KCET ~ RS. 97,000 per year Management ~ RS. 420,000 per year
Campus Life
The annual tech fest conducted is Advaith consists of multiple events like coding contests, hackathons, CTF, technical writing, etc. The library has over a lakh books and e-books, along with CDs and DVDs. Projectors and Screens are available in every class. Every month there is one or another sports event. Point Blank (coding society), IEDC, Team Arcis.
