Remarks
You should have passed science in 10+2. Given the jee exam and scored an all India rank (air) around 90000 - 100000 (90k - 1 lakh) i.e. 88 - 90 percentile at minimum. If you have reserved category, you can get admission at around all India rank (air) of 200000 or 2 lakhs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The university has started offering specialization courses that it did not offer earlier. Earlier it only had computer science and engineering as a core subject but now it also provides computer science and engineering with specialization i.e. In Artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI & ML). The new batch also has around half the students of computer science and engineering i.e. around 71, which is the batch strength. The teachers are all Ph.D. holders.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee structure is good and cost-efficient. The fee for 1 year is around 60000 and that of the whole B. Tech 4 year course is 240000 which is much less if compared to a private university. You can also avail yourself of a scholarship and education loans which are available.
Campus Life
There is a youth fest every year. It is mostly conducted in the month of November or December. As for the availability of books and journals, there is a big, very big library here where there is a large number of resources available for you to go through.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel room, there is not much but 3 cupboard and beds. There is also a single balcony for two rooms. There are common washrooms for half floor. The menu of mess is ok and the taste is also not much bad. The hostel is mostly rented on the basis of the distance of of your house from the university.
