VIT has its entrance examination known as VITEEE and admission to a different campus of VIT is based on your rank in the entrance but I was from the 2021 batch and due to covid circumstances Bhopal campus has also taken admission based on class12th percentage, a higher percentage with category 1 fees structure and with lower percentage the category goes on increasing. I had missed the VITEEE examination so I took the admission based on my 12th result in which I scored 83% and was able to get CSE branch in 1st category. I found the admission process based on the 12th percentage in one of the social media sites and I think the admission based on 12th marks was valid for our 2021 batch only. Previous and upcoming admission processes will be done only on an entrance basis. I think they should take admission with limited numbers and not exceed the students more than they need.

Vit Bhopal is the only University in the country which has 100% doctoral (Ph.D.) faculty and yes it's true. They are all experts in their respective fields. If we go for the ratio then it's 50:1. The semester is too fast and all the exams including mid-term are conducted on time. I have just finished my 3rd semester only in 4 months. The difficulty levels of the exam vary from teacher to teacher some faculties do give easy papers and some faculties do give difficult question papers so if you prepare well for the exam then it doesn't matter about the type of question paper.

Some companies do visit for an internship or the student tries to get an internship. It is compulsory to do an internship because it has come credit score which is required to complete the course and get a degree. The project varies from person to person so you need to do some of the boxes including big projects to get an internship.

The companies start to visit for campus placement from the 7th semester and students are eligible accordingly. for the current 2k22 batch, the highest on-campus package goes 59lpa which was offered for crypto companies and the average is 7lpa. Till now 90% of students have been placed and some went for higher studies. I will be sitting for the placement rounds.

Vit has a category fee structure in which 1st category fee is 1,98,000 and goes till the 5th category and the amount also goes on increasing which is around 4-5lacs in the last category. And hostel fees start from 1.2lacs for 6 bedded and go on increasing till 2 bedded which has approx 1.6lac in which mess charges are included and is for a year. The cost of a hostel room also depends on whether you opt for Ac or non-Ac type. Vit doesn't provide and scholarship but VIT-Bhopal has a scheme known as the stars scheme where the selected number of students (approx 40) who have topped the MP state board examination are given the privilege to study for free. And yes, for finances you can approach any bank.

As VIT-Bhopal was established in 2017, so it's a new campus and it's still under construction so the infrastructure is not much developed. Yes, it has huge land over 250 acres so yes the campus is large. Aditya is the name of the annual tech and cultural fest which is organized in April - May, university has a library that has all the books and journals based on the requirements of different branch students. it has a daily newspaper and a lot of novels too. It has a Caltech system of active learning. All the classroom is equipped with a projector to teach with ppts. It has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities like indoor basketball, badminton, volleyball, and an outdoor football ground. Various sports tournaments are organized throughout the year. It's all types of technical and non-technical clubs in which some are active and some are not.

Currently, there are 3blocks of boys' hostel and the rest two are under construction, and one hostel block for girls is under construction. Overall hostel rooms are good with good quality furniture. There is also a room cleaning service which is provided by the hostel and the quality of the mess food is also quite good. The menu of the mess also gets changed in intervals and provides food four times a day, they also serve north, south, and Jain foods in the mess. The registration process for a hostel room is only in which you will have to give the preference for the type of bed you want to choose and they will allocate you based on the preference you filled. As the hostel charges, I have mentioned earlier which is quite high for a middle-class family so some students opt to live outside in a pg. Pg is available in astha, shore, and also just outside the campus within a distance of 1-2 km.
