Remarks

So first we applied for the IIT JEE entrance exams, cleared the exam, and applied for the JOSSA counseling. In the 3Rd round, I got the college and opted for the CSE course here. The cutoff for the CSE branch in the last round was almost 35000.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses here are well structured and provide very great knowledge of the fundamentals and subjects. Since I am a cs student, we have great learning and programming in the same field. Faculties here are very helpful caring and hardworking. They have good knowledge of their subjects and assist students in providing knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

College provides students with internship opportunities and the sixth semester is totally dedicated to internships only. Companies visited the college and students have to give the test and have to be selected. In case any student doesn't get an internship in any industry the institute provides IVI to them.

Placement Experience

The placements here are very well last year's batch of 2022 has the highest placement of 47 and the average placement was 13 LPA for the 2022 batch. From our batch till mid-Oct almost 70 percent of students are placed and the highest package is 60 LPA. Several big companies like Amazon jio and others visited here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the IIIT Una is, INSTITUTION FEE - 102500 per semester. Hostel fee+ mess included is 35000 per sem. The college has several scholarship opportunities based on your caste category, academic excellence, state quota, and other fields.

Campus Life

The campus life here is great. We have every facility here. The college provides us with each indoor and outdoor sports facilities we have grounds and courts for all types of sports. We have several clubs for the sports, cultural and technical communities. The event organizing club EPMOC here organized an annual fest for the technical sports and cultural background known as miraki , yalgaar, and mridang respectively.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
