Remarks
The admission process is pretty easy they'll conduct an entrance exam early or you can contact the college directly for admission, I personally went through a consultancy I got 25 per cent off my college fee. The consultancy I went to is -SS consultancy adaar, Chennai
Course Curriculum Overview
Core faculty members were excellent they have 10..15 years of experience. I'm telling you this about my course which is mechatronics. Hods were very friendly they encouraged us very much to do projects and everything was very smooth when it comes to the course. Exams were hard but you can easily pass those if u understand the subject. Talking about the student ratio we had 60.70 members for class but in other branches, there was more than 80 soo for us it's fine we were comfortable. Some junior lecturers were rude but that's to be expected in every college. But no I heard our 2 hods left the college They were the main pillars but still a hod present he has a pretty excellent reputation so it'll be fine I think
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship offer from cognizant so I didn't do much in my last semester coz my faculty told us we can concentrate on the internship but they told us to need to do a final year project no matter what so we did our final year project but if it comes to internship many students did internships on their last semester.
Placement Experience
We've got pretty good placement offers from many companies but they are bare minimum GPAs like 3.5 LPA to 6lpa that's it only very few students GOP more than 7 LPA mostly everyone gets a chance at placement in one or another company. We got cognizant, IBM, Wipro, Zoho , Microsoft, Infosys My plans are simple to get an MBA and settle in non it sector robotics has no future in India I mean for another 4 to 5 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 50000 more in 1st year after 1st year you'll pay 50000 less than the amount discussed. for the scholarship, they'll see your inter MPC marks or your plus 1,2 Mpc marks other than that I've never heard that a student got campus jobs and got a stipend for that. You can discuss that with your admission staff they have separate numbers for that. But they've increased prices drastically so to put in a word it's not a bang for the buck college anymore
Campus Life
There are guitar clubs, dance clubs you name it it's there. If you're an extrovert and you like meeting new people I think you'll be very happy in college you'll have a very fun college life considering the events going on in College now increased the events drastically it's more fun now. And coming to Library Hindustan has one of the fanciest libraries you can find the latest journals, maximise your course-related stuff and everything. Yarona is an event that was held every year by Hindustan college. Hindustan students run an Instagram page it's called HITS
Interview Experience
I went to admission with the help of a consultancy, and it was very smooth I paid 30k for the consultancy I know it's high but I'm an Andhra resident I didn't travel 3 to 4 times to Chennai for admission I think it was worth the money
Other Applied Colleges
SRM Institute of Science and Technology - [SRMIST] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering)
I heard from a consultancy that Hindustan had better faculty for the course I wanted
