Remarks

Students belonging to a science background (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) have to score at least 60% in their 12th or equivalent exam. And you have to give WBJEE and secure a decent rank in that. For Electronics and instrumentation engineering you have to be in the top 800-900 students in the WBJEE exam. You can find the application form from WBJEE .nic.in. The application fee is 500 rupees. The application date has not been announced yet. I belong to the OBC-B category. The application fee will be 400 rupees. The cutoff will be 1400 for the same course.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I want to pursue a course that gives me exposure to the core as well as to the IT sector. Core especially Electronics and Instrumentation. And it gives a very good placement as well. There the faculty and students ratio will be 10:1. That means for every 10 students there is a teacher for guiding them. Most of the teachers are done with P.HD. Some of the teachers are from IISc Bangalore, IIT KHARAGPUR, and various other reputed institutes. They coordinate with students very well. The semester exam will be conducted twice a year. If you follow the teacher's guidelines then you can easily pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

5

Texas Instrument, Wells Fargo, Airbus, PayPal, Amazon, Flipkart, Apple, Paytm Gup-Sup, and many other companies come and give internship opportunities. The stipend will be from 30000 to 100000. The company mainly come for analyst, Software Developer, Web Developer, etc. From the internship, one can get job ready.

Fees and Financial Aid

For one year the fee will be 2500 rupees. You can get a studentship scholarship if you are not able to pay that money. Internships will be given and about 20 % percentage students got that. The stipend will be from 30000 to 100000 per month. Almost all students got the job with an average package of 16 LPA. And the highest package will be 44 lakhs given by Amazon. PSU will also come.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
