You have to give JEE mains to get admission to this college. You get this form on the official website of NTA and it is around 650 for GEN/OBC application dates are not confirmed, you get notified on time.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college because of its tremendous growth rate and higher placement stats than other IIITs. It has good faculty members and most of them are Ph.D. holders and the faculty-student ratio is quite good. It has 8 semesters for every stream and there are 2 tests in between each semester and an end-semester exam. If you study well then there is no difficulty to pass.

Ms. Shweta Gurami student of CSE 5th Sem has been selected by Adobe Big Data Experience Labs for the position of Research Intern for a 12-week Internship with a Stipend of INR 100000 per month. Campus Life

Campus life is amazing and it is a ragging-free college. The annual fest's name is MRIDANG and the tech fest's name is Meraki. Dates are informed to you as scheduled. The library is quiet enough to study, you can access books that are required for your stream. There are projectors in each class and the strength of the class is 66. You can get almost sports grounds and there is a sports club, so you can achieve excellence in it. There are other clubs in college so you can fulfill your other activities like singing, dancing, etc. There is also a gym which is not highly equipped but it is growing so we can hope for the best. Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are quite good and large. As it is 3 seater and common bath. You are provided with Wi-Fi. Meal quality is fine as it is a hostel mess so you can imagine and there is a scheduled menu. You can register for a hostel at the time of the admission process and it is affordable. It is not for day scholars.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
