Learn Something New

I was selected on the basis of PMSSS. It's a scholarship given to students in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. The application form can be found online and my whole college and hostel fee was paid by the scholarship. You can Scholarship on basis of your marks in 12th.

My family background is in engineering so I was told Civil Engineering will be best for me. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:10 1 teacher for 10 students. The minimum qualification for our faculty is Btech whereas only one teacher is hired on basis of Btech.

The company provides internships but as we are from the civil department we always have to go to the constitution site. But because of COVID, we were told not to go outside, and instead, we are told to do two online courses. Their courses I did was, I learned Sharda Script Oil and gas industry.

From the 7th sem, we can sit on placements. In my year of placement, our classes were online because of corona so I don't have exact data but I interviewed for 5 companies, and for the one I was selected in there were other 7 students selected with me. The only criterion is SGPA should be greater than 6. I will be working in the construction industry.

The fee structure is 120000 per year for the study. Then 10000 for hostel and mess per month. I got admission to the college because of the Scholarship its name is PMSSS and is only available for students of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

We have an annual fest where all the engineering colleges of Udaipur come in one place. In addition to that, there are a lot of activities going on in the college. For every semester we get books from the library and then at the end of the semester we have to return them in order to get the next semester's books. We have projectors in our normal classes and then there are 2 Hitech classes where we have a charging point at every seat, AC, and smart board. The campus offers a lot of sports and extracurricular activities we also have hostel tournaments and inter-college competitions. We have the Army club, and Green club.
