Good college with great placement

To get admission to Narula institute of technology we need atleast 60% in class 12 exams. Admission is through Wbjee, JEE Mains, and management quota. The documentation process should be centralized and everything should be online.

I chose the course because of my interest in computers and software. The college as well is very good with good professors and placement. There are specified professors and assistant professors for every subject and the student-teacher ratio is 1:40 which is good for the overall development of every student. The teaching method is good with more emphasis on practical rather than bookish knowledge. Internal examinations are held every month with a semester exam every 6 months and you need to study all year round to be able to pass the examination.

Many reputed companies offer internship opportunities for eligible students like Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini etc. The stipend offered depends on the role and the skills ranging from 10000 to 60000.

The students are eligible for campus placement by the end of the third year. Multiple companies visit the campus which includes Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Mindtree, etc. The highest package offered was 27 LPA and the lowest package offered was 4 LPA. Average package was about 5-6 LPA. About 90-95% of students get placement offers with many getting multiple opportunities. I am thinking of getting a job after my course.

The total fee for the B.Tech CSE course is 408000 which is divided into 8 semesters which makes it approx. 50000 per semester. Fees are hiked at a certain interval by 10% for new admission. There are some scholarship programs for the domicile of west Bengal but not for outside students. There are multiple job opportunities which we can avail with an average package of 5 lakh.

There is a technical fest called kritanj in June and a cultural fest called Navodaya in August. The semester book and other reference books are available in large quantities in the college library. The semester books are provided by the college. The classrooms are large and full of all basic amenities.
