Remarks

Our college is a public-private partnership college and it is an institute of national importance under moe. The admission process is one should write JEE MAINS EXAM. Then you have to do JOSSA/CSAB counseling. The cutoff for the general category went up to 40000CRL for the ECE branch

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college provides the best curriculum among the IIITs.Our college mainly focuses on practical knowledge and the lab demonstrations are also great. There are 65 students in our class. About 76% of faculty are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields. The faculty to students ratio is 1:15 which was quite great.

Internships Opportunities

So the best thing about our curriculum is whole 6th semester is for just an internship. Students are free for the whole 6th semester to do their internships. Many companies gave internships this year to many students Internships are quite great here

Placement Experience

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. Big companies like amazon google Microsoft Qualcomm IBM visit our campus for their placements. This time Amazon offered the highest package of 60LPA. And the lowest package received was 3.6LPA average package is 14LPA.90%students are placed till now

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is fixed for 4 years and we have to pay it semester-wise. So the fee per semester is 1,20,000. And in total, we have 8 semesters which makes it around.10,00,000.So the SC, ST students can get NSP scholarship, and also all the state-wise scholarships are acceptable in our college

Campus Life

Our college has 3fests namely Mridaang Meraki algae. Mridaang is our cultural fest. Miraki is our technical fest. algae are our sports club. Our library is not that big it's quite small and the availability of books is quite less. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. We have every sports ground and equipment. We have mainly 5 clubs EPMOC EUNOIA AAVESH FORCE PIXEL

Hostel Facilities

So there are 3hostels provided in our college JATHRAGNI CHITAGNI BHUTAGNI. Jhatragni is complete for the first years.Chitaagni and Bhutan hostels are shared by 2,3,4th years of students. Our rooms are 3-seaters rooms which are quite spacious for three people. The mess food was delicious.There is no pg or rented rooms available here

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
