To get admission to MNIT, Jaipur you need to give JEE which is given by approximately 10 lakh students although this number is decreasing year by year, competition is increasing. There are advantages of reservation and it is given to all the categories present.
Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly, I chose college over the branch because I wanted good exposure and people around me having higher IQs than me and I ended up being in MNIT, Jaipur metallurgical, and materials engineering. our class size is 112 students. Faculty of this course are alumni of IITs, NITs, and even IISc. Some teachers genuinely create interest in subjects while others just read the slides. Every semester has two exams, mid sem, and end sem. Generally, students study one night before and score decent marks. CGPA is assigned on relative grading.
Internships Opportunities
internships opportunities are less for non-circuital branches. but really good for circuital branches. mechanical and chemical students get internship opportunities in their core fields. companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, JP Morgan, BPCL, etc come with internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
companies offer internships in starting of the third year and placement in starting of 4th year. adobe, airtel, amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Mogan, etc are some companies that come to mnit. the highest package was 64 LPA from ECE. chemical got 100% placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
fee structure of this college is just like any other NITs. 62,500 per semester is tuition fees 17,035 per semester is for other facilities like internet, library, etc. 32,000 per semester is the hostel fee. if you are SC/ST then your tution fee is waived off. if your family income is less than 5 lakh then the 50% tuition fee is waived.
Campus Life
Blitzslag is the annual cultural fest conducted in Feb. Spinx annual tech fest was conducted in august. books and journals are available in the library for issuing and ebook facilities are also available. VLTC (Vivekanand lecture theatre complex) is Asia's largest theater hall complex. Fully air-conditioned and internet abled. Dance Clubs : E=mc^2 : the derivatives and levels tech club: Zine drama club: DIL the campus is situated in heart of Jaipur city near WTP and Gaurav tower and for more places nearby come and explore.
