Remarks

It was the best experience studying in the SRCC, I wish it remain the same for future students.

Entrance Preview

There was separate DU form requiring percentage i had acquired in my 12th class exams, based on which i got admission. There was no entrance exam. SRCC is one of the best college of the country, there was no better option for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It was a huge opportunity for me to explore my practical and theory knowledge in my stream. They provided the opportunities like public speaking, mass communication, group discussions, class projects, etc. I had the opportunity to interact with people from all over the country.

Internships Opportunities

The college provided a lot of internship opportunities in the multi national companies like Deloitte, KPMG, American Express, AXIS Bank, etc with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 50,000.

4.5

The college provided a lot of job opportunities in various sectors of auditing, finance, taxation, marketing, in the multi national companies like Deloitte, KPMG, American Express, AXIS Bank, YES Bank etc with annual packages ranging from 3,00,00 to 15,00,000.

College Events

5

There is also a provision for sports, extra-curricular activities. Besides that there is annual fest of the college which lasts for 4 days inviting celebrities and movie stars to perform. There are also intra-college fests of different societies, including a tremendous sports fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very genuine as the college is affliated to Delhi university. The general category person pays a nominal fee amount of 18,000 per year. where as there are concessions for ph child, obc, sc and st's. It is a very genuine amount of money for such a great college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was special scholarships offered by the college to the top merit position students in the way of fee concession. I did not avail one.

Campus Life

5

The college campus is the best one can expect. it is neat and clean including the all-air conditioning facility. Students from all over the country study in the college. The college provides opportunities like swimming pool, computer labs, sports campus, and various societies.

Hostel Facilities

4

Though i did not take up the hostel facilities because it has limited amount of seats, but it was pretty good for a government college. The food was college and contained nutrional values. The hostel had a nominal fee structure of about 25,000 for the whole year including the food.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni of the college had reached great heights in various work departments and are always eager to help the students as well as college.

Exam Structure

The exams take place after every six months following the semester system of education under university grants system. The results are declared in percentage approximately after 2 months of finishing the exams. Each exam hour time of three hours allowing students to write 5 questions.

Admission

There was separate DU form requiring percentage i had acquired in my 12th class exams, based on which i got admission. There was no additional entrance exam. There is also a provision for sports, extra-curricular activities, physically handicapped people. DU gives a cut-off list and you can approach the college authorities directly if you find your name in the list.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
