Remarks
Student passing the class 12 examination with at least a 75% score is eligible to apply for this course. The admission process is through JoSAA counseling (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and you need to give JEE MAIN exam to take admission to the NIT+ system. There is a reservation for OBC, ST, and SC categories with income benefits for EWS class too. Improvement in the admission process is like the website of JoSAA should be improved. The application form fee is 650/- for boys and 325/- for girls.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as there are good placements and the course curriculum is way too interactive. There are good internship opportunities also. The faculty-student ratio is about 100:800 in one batch. All the faculty members are well educated from NIT/IIT and most of them completed their Ph.D. from foreign universities. Teaching includes smart board presentations. You need to study about 7 days prior to mid-term and 15 days prior to end term examination. Passing exams is not that difficult and you can score really well if you pay attention in class.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the NIT+ system increased two folds in the past 10 years due to high inflation rates and growth improvement. The total cost to study is around 6.5 Lakhs for 4 years of BTech cost. EWS students get fee benefits and there are many state scholarships provided that get assurance from the college.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is named Blitzslag and it 2nd the largest fest in Rajasthan, top 5 fests in the North after IIT Delhi and BITS GOA.
