Remarks

Overall our college is pretty awesome. But we did have some issues with college management for the fest. except that everything is well. Though I have applied for a TFW. They haven't replied yet.

Entrance Preview

I appeared in WBJEE. I secured a rank of 29000. Quiet frankly it wasn't a good rank to get admitted in TICT( Techno India College of Technology, that's how we call our college). I made a list of colleges. TICT was at top of my list.I was surprised to see me securing a spot in TICT. I was quiet lucky to get admitted in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would like to say that TICT is blessed with great teachers & we are blessed to have them in our studying life. They give great informative and interesting lectures. But unfortunately due to less time per semester according to our university, they are not being able to give us the required amount of time. But it is great that they help us to get ready for the finals after classes.

Internships Opportunities

Our college does arrange some training every year. And also they arrange industrial training for us. But no internships.

Placement Experience

4

The placement and job opportunities are pretty great. Our college conducts training and seminars for helping our skills now and then. For example, I have a seminar tomorrow regarding how to give an interview. till now there are an 80% up placement in our college.

College Events

4.5

We conduct a cultural and technical fest every year. We also throw freshers a fresher's party every year. Being an engineering college technical fest is a must. We conduct technical fest with bot war, circuit making etc events. Cultural fest and fresher's party is a two days programme with many musical and dramatic events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We are charged 40000 per semester. And extra 10000 for training and 20000 as caution money. So 35000 for a four-year course. If we compare the fee structure with Amity, KIIT etc colleges it is very cheap. And no further money is taken. The only complaint I want to make is the canteen food should have been cheaper.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, the loan facility is pretty good. You can get a beneficiary certificate from college anytime for the loan. And there is also some scholarship offered too.

Campus Life

3.5

As it is an engineering college so definitely the number of girls is much lesser than boys. The campus life is great with common room, a playing ground, library etc. We have good labs. There are frequent events on robotics, coding, etc. Hopefully, my college is free of politics.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility is pretty good with Ac and non-Ac rooms. The food isn't good. We have to go outside and eat due to the bad quality of food. And the distance of hostel from college is 20 km. Clearly, the hostel facility is not that good. They should take care of that.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are quiet helpful. We certainly get help in case of any problem. They did help us with the interview, lab-oriented things.

Exam Structure

The examinations, lab classes, assignments are too much. Just too much. And classes for 7/8 hours a day is too much. For 5 days a week, college days are devastating. Examination per semester. Two unit test per semester. To sum up college life is just too busy and tired.

Admission

First, i made a list of colleges I wanted to apply. Then as per WBJEE council procedures, I enlisted myself for counseling with the list of the colleges I made. As I said earlier I was surprised to get a chance in TICT. After the counselling, securing a spot for ECE in TICT, I went to the college campus and paid the admission fees. And after a few days, they called me for "Orientation Program". After 3/4 days, my college started.

Faculty

3

We have great helpful teachers in our college. They help us in all possible ways for our future. But I would like to blame the university calendar that they aren't able to give us enough time for our study. Though they help us with solutions at any time. They are helpful in cases of innovative works from any student.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
