Eligibility of the Course- you should have more than 60% in 10th and 12th.you should have qualified for WBJEE. Everything is available on the bcet website. You can apply and get all the details over there. Details of Reservation Benefits- if you are from West Bengal and comes from lower caste then only you can avail the reservation. Any improvement you want to see in the admission process- yes, there should be more working on the website because sometimes it gets crashed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always curious about coding things, so I always wanted to pursue a Career in CSE. My branch has around 30 faculty and 480 students meaning it's 1:6. The teachers are good and they have good teaching techniques. Everything was timely and was a moderate level of difficulty.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester you become eligible for campus placements. More than 100 companies come and 60-70% get placed. In my year it was around 13lpa just because of the corona but after that year it rose to around 20lpa. so, quite nice packages. The average package was around 4.5lpa. there was every profile was offered. Percentage of students getting placements-66-70% of students got placed in my year. Your plans after getting the degree- I am currently working for an MNC.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee will depend upon semester-wise every time fees got increased by 1-2k. I got OASIS scholarships, and I did not get placed by campus, I got off campus placement but many students got placed so overall everything was good.
Campus Life
When I was in college there was conora time so unluckily I Don't get involved in any. But after I got passed out there were many tech fests and the annual fest got conducted. Availability of books & journals in the library- you will get every book that you will need for semesters. Amenities in classrooms- the classroom is very much normal with a desk bench and blackboard with 2-3 CCTV cams. There are regular sports events conducted throughout the year. The clubs or websites for students are run by students-robotics, e-cell, and some more.
