I've taken admitted through the West Bengal joint entrance exam (West Bengal). You can find applications from Asansol engineering college's official website just write "Asansol engineering college" in any search engine. The Admission process should be done immediately after the competitive exams

I've chosen this course because I love to work with the electrical appliances In my department, the student ratio is good enough All faculty members in my department or in my college have signified degrees. We have to clear 4 CA in one semester and on the end semester exam

Placement Experience

From or after the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. The companies which visited in our college are (TCS, WIPRO, INDIA MART), etc. Almost 90 to 95% of students get placed through such wonderful companies. I will also try to get jobs from these companies with higher packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

Colleges have given many scholarships including national scholarships and state scholarships. Yes, my college provides financial assistance There are many companies that come to our college and provide jobs with stipends the companies are (TCS, WIPRO), etc.

Campus Life

Tech fest happened every month and the annual fest is conducted every year in the month of June There are approximately 5000 of them in our library, and we get our course books also from the library. The teacher helps in our tech study through both hardware and software mode

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
