To get admission to Information Technology Department you have to rank within 3500 GMR rank. Then you can find the application on the official website of WBJEE. There is a reservation policy in the admission process for TFW, SC, ST, OBC, and PWD.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I am interested in Coding. there is a 10:1 student-teacher ratio in my department. Qualification of the faculties is good and the teaching method is also good enough. We have our internal and semester exams timely. The difficulty of the exams is not so easy.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible to sit in campus placements. Many companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Erricson, Netmeds, Rakuten, and media.net visited the campus. The highest package- is 44 LPA, the Average package- is 9.5 LPA, Lowest package- is 5 LPA. 96% per cent students got placed this year.
Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life
JECLAT is our college's cultural fest, which is organised every year and is one of the biggest cultural fests in North Bengal. SRISHTI is our annual techno-management fest where students from many colleges participate in many tech competitions. We have our central library with a lot of books. Classroom facilities are decent. There are clubs like a DRAMA club, DANCE club, MUSIC club etc. Cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball are played by students on the college campus.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room has a light, bed, table and desk. But there are no facilities for fans. The hostel provided LAN in rooms. Meal quality is medium and menu of the meal is good enough. You have to apply for hostel admission on the college website.
