Amazing time in IIM

I made it all the CAP colleges that come after the rankings of IIM Kashipur and also MDI Gurgaon HRM course. I chose IIM Kashipur because I had researched and found that the administration, gender ratio and placements were better than the rest. I did not choose MDI-HRM as I did not want to restrict the course composition of my MBA to Human Resources. I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email. The Interview was mostly about my experience and scenario-based questions like how would you do in a particular situation, etc. The Main aspect of the admission process that I didn't like was at the beginning there needed to be more clarity on how the process would go on, what kind of questions would be asked, and mainly the timeline of the events(i.e. Interviews and the various mails)....Read More

No, specifically I haven't received any counselling related to IIM Kashipur or other IIM institutes. But the first advantage I saw was there were a lot of industries visit the IIM Kashipur campus. IIM Kashipur is known for the big industry setup out fair. So you get a chance to explore those and the campus is a plus part.
