Remarks

At least 45% in the PCM stream in senior secondary. We get the WBJEE form online mode, the application fee is 750 for generals, and the admission and counseling process takes almost a month time which I think should be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course bachelor of technology in information technology because I want to get a job and work in the IT sector. 95 students in our class The faculty is well-qualified and helpful. Each month we had a class assignment and the exam level was moderate.

Placement Experience

From the sixth semester, we are eligible for college placement. Our top recurators are TCS, cognizant, Accenture, byjus Tata, and many more. Approximately 85 to 90 % get placement, I plan to work as a software engineer in a good MNC.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't know about the fee hike but my cost of the study is four lakh twenty thousand nine hundred seven rupees and there are many scholarships for minorities and women and financial week person like financial assistance.

Campus Life

The Annual fest's name is Laganza and the tech quiz at the fest most likely be in March and April. The books and journals are available. The classroom is well equipped with facilities having smart tv and projectors. The sports like badminton volleyball and cricket are played. The coding club is there.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
