Review for SNU.

I gave an entrance exam to get admitted to this University. After scoring more than the cut-off marks, I was called and with my father, I visited the University and went through the admission procedures. Application forms were given from the admission desk and filling it makes the student a going to be a student of SNU.

I had a craving for computers and wanted to know more about the languages that computers use. So naturally, the desire to know more ultimately ended up with my admission to the University as a B.Tech CSE student. The ratio of faculty: to students is an impressive 3:58 per subject for a section. In our department, we have 7 sections of 58 students each. The professors are PhD degree holders and their methods of teaching are very well. So, their lectures don't seem boring and can be understood with ease. Exams are in a 2 months gap, including class tests, surprise tests and assignments.

Internship with various companies ended up with the students getting inducted into their companies! HR, Senior Marketing Manager and many other roles are provided to the students of our University based on the merit of our best Students.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Amazon, byjus, Tcs among many others who visited. The highest package which was offered was 11.25 LPA in the last year. The average is 5.2 LPA. Students are placed with a 78% rate. My plans are expected to be fulfilled in the year 2026!

The total course fees are INR 6,20,000. But students can avail of scholarships which can even be a full 100% scholarship in which the tuition fees will be waived by that scholarship amount. I have got a 75% scholarship on my tuition fees per semester as I have a good percentage in my board exams.

There are various technical clubs run by students in the college like GDSC, NSCC, GFG, etc., headed by the main technical club, Skepsis, operated by Senior Professors of the CSE department. Extracurricular activities like basketball, cricket, badminton, carrom, and football are the sports which are played inside the campus as well as in competitions rather inter-college competitions named UMANG. Books of every department are present in the Central Library situated on the ground floor of the University which can be accessed by each and every student. Books are issued based on the student's account which is digitally accessed in the portal named Tcs-ion Self service and changes in the issue and return are made therewith.
