Admission in Bit Mesra is done through JEE MAINS rank only for BTECH programme.JEE MAINS is a national level exam conducted by NTA.A person has to get nearly 99%ile to get CSE in BIT MESRA through outside state general quota.For just taking admission in Bit mesra btech programmes,one needs atleast under 1lakh rank.Also, there is an internal sliding cum spot at institute level through which also a person can get admission.

Cse in BIT MESRA is very good and demanding course. People with really good ranks come here to Study cse in BIT MESRA. Placement in cse of BIT MESRA is awesome (19-20Lpa avg). Faculty: student ratio is satisfactory. Faculties are decent and nearly all have PHDs. Professors are strict here at BIT.Academics are at tougher side.There are 2Quizzes,midsem and endsem in a semester .

Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Google , Flipkart etc provide internships here to the students .stipend varies from Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,50,000 .Few students also get international internships.

Placement at BIT MESRA is Awesome.Cse average package is nearly 20lpa.Median package of cse is 16LPA.There is nearly 95%placements in cse Overall institute average is 13lpa with a median of 11lpa.Nearly 85% of the students got placed from Bit mesra in 2021-22 batch.From 6th semester, Students become eligible for sitting in placements. Major companies that visited our college are AMAZON, GOOGLE, FLIPKART, WALMART, GOLDMAN SACHS, FACEBOOK , TWITTER.My plan is to get a job in top MNC after completing my 4year btech.

Bit mesra is Costly contrary to the NITs. Total tution fees is nearly 13lakhs and hostel mess fees are 3lakhs for entire 4 years BTECH. Every year there is a few Hike of nearly 10%. There is a GP BIRLA scholarship which is given to the meritorious students scoring good cgpa. And there is a merit cum need basis scholarships too for Financially weaker students.But the high fees are totally worth it as the placement of this college is also nice 20lpa is the average of cse here. Average package of all branches is 13lpa.

Bit has a very beautiful lush green campus. The annual techfest is called BITOTSAV held in the month of February . The annual techfest is called PANTHEON held in the month of October. Library is very big here and contains different kinds of books. Classroom is also very big with capacity of 200 students. There is a projector and a blackboard in every class. Sport complex of BIT has facilities for every kind of game starting from cricket, football to kho kho and kabaddi. There is also a gym. There are many clubs run by the students like IEEE,Ahsas,ACM,Robolution etc.

There are double seater rooms allocated to 1st year students .From second year onwards, everyone gets single room.Mess meal quality is above average. Chicken/paneer is served twice an week Food is hygienic. Hostel registration is done at the time of admission itself.
