Remarks
Hello everyone, it is quite nice to share some knowledge about my college so let's offer a four-year BTech programme at the UG level with an annual seat intake of 701 students, including all eight specialisations. Admission to the programme is based on WBJEE rank, followed by WBJEE Counselling. The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of the WBJEE result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in three rounds of WBJEE Counselling with opening and closing ranks for each of the BTech specialisations. The cutoffs are further divided into All-India and Home State quota ranks across multiple categories, such as Open, SC, ST, OBC, TF, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am choosing electronics and communications engineering because in this department teachers are very helpful and laboratories have good infrastructure Teachers are very helpful and most of the teachers hold Ph.D. degrees in their respective subjects. The quality of teaching is above average. Teachers help with topics beyond study. The curriculum followed is of makeup because the college is affiliated with makeup. The college organizes various webinars and activities which help the student to understand the working of the industry. The semester exam is of moderate level by revising the previous 10-year paper student can easily pass the exam.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio is undoubtedly more than what I expected. Major thanks to our placement cell which bought good companies like amazon, General Electric, TCS, Bosch, Byjus, Extramarks, and many more. Almost all of my batch mates are placed in good companies with a pretty decent package. The minimum package offered was 3.6 and the highest offered was 10 LPA and the average that I heard during my batch was 5 LPA. So the placement was really good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course you take depends on how you utilize your time and how productive you are during your college time. In my perspective, it is value for money. May this opinion might vary from person to person. My course fee is 80000 thousand per year ( 40000 thousand each samisstar ) it's compatible for everybody, this college also hostel facility here's it's cos poor, but in my case, I am staying in PG that's are also 1500 per month. Here we can get a Swami Vivekananda scholarship in this college.
Campus Life
The college campus was really good. From the good playground to well maintained and good canteen. The students came from all the nearby States. The college was at a prime location because of which all the basic facilities were available within walking distance. The staffs were also well-behaved from the security guards to the canteens staff and the academic staff. But the academic staff used to make us wait a lot even for small stuff which I felt was a waste of time. The emergency facility was up to mark. Engineering life is good, in my experience, it's so much fun here, like cricket, basketball, football, badminton, volleyball, etc playing here in campus grounds and indoors .it's safe and it's emergency facilities are available.
