Remarks

The admission process is very straightforward, with no assessment no entrance score asked, just you have to go and tell for the admission, just it. Application forms, application fees and application dates are mentioned on their website, as you visit their website they will immediately contact you and share all the details with the student. I hadn't availed of any Reservation/benefits. No, the admission process was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I choose this course(BCA) because of the low graduation time I have to invest in this degree and also the course fee is way low as compared to another technical degree such as B.TECH but now I regret I have to go for B.TECH rather than BCA. The ratio of faculty and Student are quite average not so good not so poor, it's around 60 students per faculty. The qualifications of faculties are decent but the teaching method is so poor. The term exam is held every 5 months and you will pass it by studying only the night before the exam through the guidebooks and youtube.

Placement Experience

1.5

After 5th-semester students are eligible for college placements TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT and many such services-based companies visited colleges but they offer very low package around 1.8-2 lakh per year, so acc to me the placements are worst here. The highest package form my batch is around 3.8 CTC offered by Delloite and the average package is about 1.8 CTC there is a very low percentage of students getting places which is around 10% of the whole batch. I planned for MCA and now I'm placed but after learning the required skills such as DSA, Software Development.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as follows At my time it's 68k/year for 3 years so the total is around 2 lac 5k excluding exam form fees which is going to university but I think for now it is around 75k/year so calculate it accordingly. I didn't get any scholarship or Financial Assistance and the scenario of JOB is very poor here in this college, almost 90% of students remain unplaced after completing their degrees including me, The fact is they didn't teach any programming skills which is a requirement of companies then why companies should hire us, by the time we realise it was too late, thanks to god now I'm skilled enough and have a good job with a handsome package.

Campus Life

3.5

Life at the campus was so enjoyable, there are not many but some fests are hosted by the college I didn't recall the name at this time but in general, there are 3-4 fests in 1st year including Fresher's party conducted in October and I missed Mr Fresher just by 1 point and got 2nd Rank The availability of books and journals is quite good but nowadays no one is interested in reading books. The classroom is average, there are no such amenities as A/C, like projectors in the classrooms. This college is average in terms of sports and extra-curricular activities, they have playgrounds only for Basketball, Volleyball, but there are no such stadiums for cricket and other sports. There are no social groups clubs or websites run by students in college.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility is average only I can't say it is good, the room is so average there is no finishing on the walls the paint is so dull and poor and they have provided a small size cupboard to store our things and all the rooms are at least double sharing some of them are triple. The food of the mess was so average, only I liked was the breakfast sometimes, I rate the Hostel food 5/10. There is no such registration process for Hostel and Affordability. The locality is decent here but expensive if you rent a flat alone it costs you around 7-8k/month excluding food and other expenses but if you rent a flat in grouping with friends of 2-3 then it will be a good move Talking about the PG they are not hygienic if you've budgeted around 7-8k.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Reviewed on Apr 7, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
