Remarks
Eligibility is JEE Mains rank card. To be honest the college is charging a lot of money during admission like literally 2 lakhs rupees during the time of admission so I want the institution to reduce the fee. And also the point to be noted are that the cutoff has decreased this year so I want the cutoff to be high like high rankers should come to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I liked computer science and had a great interest in technology. The student ratio is less female because there is no female reservation. Faculties are strict but only a few otherwise majority are chill but attendance is strict to be 75% mandatory. Faculties are above average but a few are exceptions. The faculties are too qualified. Exam is a little tough as there is a scholarship based on CGPA like 50-100% fee remission on a CGPA above 8 approx.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided on campus and high stipends are provided to the student's companies sprinkler provided a 1.75lakhs stipend and Mahindra gave a 60k stipend. For research and project-related purpose will get high-speed internet here and the internet is provided to everyone with Wifi+ and everything with a decent speed.
Placement Experience
After the third year students are getting a pre-placement offer on campus so placements for the circuital branch need no introduction it's just insane. Almost all big companies come here and also uidai(Aadhar) came on campus so it's impressive. In the circuital branch (80-90%) students are getting placed on campus. I will take a placement with no plans for further study till now.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am disappointed by seeing the fee structure of BIT Mesra, the fee is high about 4lakhs per year but placements at the circuital branch are superb you will not regret it. Gp Birla scholarship is there and gets that and also there is an e-Kalyan scholarship where you can get 1lakh per year for obc/sc/st income below 1.5lakh and for Jharkhand only GP Birla is open for all categories and all states. Campus Life
Bit Mesra fest named BITOTSAV do not need any introduction its one of the best fests in asia so it's just lit...u will really enjoy alot it is likely to be conducted in February. Campus life is just superb. Books and journals are available at library and u can issue it. Sports and gym is also superb and you won't regret it. Clubs are at great position u can take part in that and also a amount of fund is provided.
Hostel Facilities
Room accommodation is great because you will get 2 shares in the first year and a single room from the second year and seniors are getting 5 star hostel here so you will enjoy it. Registrations for a hostel are so easy to get allotment.
