Remarks
Admission is free and fares on the basis of JEE advanced and done smoothly through jossa counseling. I don't think there is scope for any improvement as such but if scopes for mistakes in choice fillings are considered and any window is provided between successive rounds for change in choices then it will be a huge relief for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam dates and timing everything was announced timely by JEE advanced conducting authorities, which 2021 was being conducted by IIT kharagpur although it had to be delayed due to the ongoing covid pandemic, everything was on time as. Jee advanced is considered one of the toughest exams in India and hence requires extensive hard work and guidance to land in the top 1% of aspirants and land in an IIT.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies participate in internship drives every year, for different roles such as finance, consulting, sde, data analysis, quant research/ developer, and many more. Almost all companies offered >60k monthly stipend and in my branch, almost all got internships at good firms
Placement Experience
IIT BHU is comparable to any old iits in terms of placement, this year more than 300 companies for various roles participated in the campus placement drive with more than 1000 offers till day 3 including pre-placement offers, for the ECE branch average was 28 LPA and 35 LPA for cse
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for each semester come to around 1.2 lakhs per semester in IIT bhu, but it also depends upon your financial condition. For example, if your yearly family income is less than 1lakh then you are provided full tuition fees waiver and if it is between 1 to 5 LPA then 60% of fees is waived off, but in case of >5lpa no such waiver is applicable although you can apply for many scholarships scheme by college funding from their alumni
Campus Life
IITs are the best place to go if you are looking for overall personality development and want to explore different areas to know what excites you the most. We have different clubs like sports club, literary club, astronomy club, robotics club, a club of programmers, etc with ample time in college to explore all of them
Hostel Facilities
IIT BHU mess food is much better than other IITs as I have heard although nothing can beat your home food here you will not face complaints about hygiene and food quality, it an important to mention that on Saturday night food is not provided in the mess, so you are required to go to the canteen and left on your own to decide where to eat. also, fees are 12k per sem for the mess
