The admission process was quite straightforward as it was in online mode and we had to just submit some digitally scanned copies of our required certificates, and after that we had to do a physical registration when the semester transferred into offline mode by going to the college. To get admitted in IIT BHU, you have to clear the jee mains cutoff and to get sufficient rank in jee advanced exam in order to get the branch and college you're desiring. You can find the cutoffs by searching or/cr josaa on Google. The sole eligibility of this course is to acquire required rank for the course in jee advanced exam and fill the course and college while doing choice filling. You can find the application form on the official website of jee advanced. I availed the obc reservation benefit which reduced my required rank drastically to get my desired branch, but there was no difference in the tution fees as my parents income was greater than 5 lakhs per annum.

I chose the course because I thought it was the best option considering both the package and the namespread of college. Faculty to student ratio is decent here but I don't know the exact ratio. The teachers are well qualified and trained and the teaching assistants are mostly mtech/PhD students. The exams are easy to pass and the term exams came in like 3 months

The companies have a coding round and offer most of the offers as data science interns or junior developers and pay a stipend of around 40000-200000 fir the internship period which is quite a lot and people may opt for off campus internship as well.

The students become eligible for placements from semester 7 and companies like Google, Microsoft, etc are regular visitors here and make decent offers. The highest international package was around 2.15 cr INR last year and the highest domestic package was around 60lpa inr. More than 86% students get placed overall. I want to run a startup in blockchain sector.

The opportunity of scholarship and financial assistance is huge here as the college doesn't take much tution fees from those falling in low income bracket, and many companies (200-300) visit our college each year and give ppos(300+) and participate in placement drives.

Annual fest include cultural fest like kashiyatra and tech fests include fests like codefest, udyam,etc . And the library is massive and you will find all sorts of books there(not so much of fiction category), the sports facility has improved drastically due to development of SAC - Student activity centre. The accomodation is 3 persons per room for boys hostel and the mess food is quite average and not so good, and the hostels are quite affordable given the facilities it provides like a good bathroom, hot water facilities, water cooler, night lamps, good almirahs, and nice working lifts along with places to stand your cycles.
