College management is overall good except sometimes it becomes like red-tapism. Policies should be a more liberal and pro-student.

Entrance Examination - GATE 2014, score 814/1000, AIR 362, one of the top IIT in India with good opportunities to learn.

In the course curriculum, one has to do course work for one year or two-semester and project work for one year. IN the first year ( first two-semester) of M.Tech different subject is taught according to the specialization of the branch then next one year one has to do project work under a supervisor.

YES, there is a stipend for M.Tech students of Rs.12400 per month from MHRD (Ministry of human resource development). there id no stipend from the college side only an MHRD stipend is provided and students get without any delay every month. except that there is a contingency grant for the research work for the student from the college side.

Placement is best for computer, electronics and IT branches and the average for electrical, civil, mechanical branches. All top companies like google, Microsoft, Amazon, Mahindra & Mahindra, TATA Motors, Honda visit the college campus. there some universities and colleges also recruit for the teaching field.

there are mainly two mains events organized. one is THOMSO which is a cultural fest and another COGNIZANCE which is a technical fest. Both fest is too good and provide a chance of enjoyment and also for technical learning. a student from different colleges comes for participation.

FEE structure is not that expensive like private organization but since 2016 MHRD has increased fees for all courses so it has become a little expensive. But one can easily deposit his/her fee by stipend. FEE per semester is about 50000 which includes tuition and mess + hostel fee both.

there is no other scholarship is provide for m.tech students because they already get monthly stipend but b.tech student get merit scholarship on the basis of their performance in academics, there is some scholarship for ST, SC students.

Campus life is too awesome too many friends late at night roaming in the college, canteen Gupshup. Every student misses all about college after passing out. there are so many opportunities available for the students like sports, arts, photography, music, dance. debates and workshops are conducted by the committees from time to time for the students, special adventure trip is organized for the student.

In the hostel, all facilities are provided for students. Newspapers, washing machines for washing clothes, gym , sports kit for cricket badminton, football, etc. every hostel is provided with a canteen which opens till late at night. Mess food is good and healthy, but exceptions are there always one can not get a taste of his/ her mother's food.

Alumni Meets take place every year in the college. Alumni from different parts of the world come to see their college. They share their experiences with their juniors.

One has to give one mid-term exam and one final exam and final results come adding both exams. A c.g.p.a. of more than 5 is necessary for a student otherwise he or she will be dropped out of college. Labs are also conducted for practical knowledge. overall it is not very hectic one get Saturday and Sunday off in a week.

For admission, I gave GATE 2014 exam and got 362 all India rank then filled the IIT ROORKEE m.tech admission form after that attended counseling for getting a seat in THERMAL Engineering specialization. Admission into courses is purely on the basis of the rank/ score obtained in the GATE exam.

The faculty in the college is one of the best faculty members in India with vast knowledge and experience in their field. One can easily access any faculty member of the college for any problem related to the subject or any other thing. Faculty members are very much interested in teaching their subject except for some exceptions. they are well prepared and fully committed to their duties and strictly disciplined.
