Life of PES UNIVERSITY student

I took the KEA CET entrance exam which is a state entrance exam for the engineering course I needed to study the eligibility of the course applied was high the applications form for the entrance exam was to be applied online through the KEA portal and the application fee was around 350 as per the caste reservation of SC/ST compared to the other castes it was low and applying to the entrance exam through online was easy and any improvement I would like is that all the files I needed to upload were to be in jpeg format and should be less than 2MB Which was kind of hassle however the portal was user friendly.

The reason I choose this course was it was my ambition to be a mechanical engineer. The faculty ratio to student ratio is well maintained and the faculty members are well qualified as they are the minimum of masters required to be a faculty in our institution the teaching method is pretty good they teach us through slides and they explain practical applications easily and the doubt clarifications from the faculty are very good and every two weeks the internals take place which was a hectic and semesters exam are conducted after 5 months of semester completion the internals are kind of burden.

The college offers paid internships to students from companies like Hal and DRDO, and Mercedes offers internships with a payment of 30 thousand as of my knowledge companies like drdo offers projects with fully-fledged payment to students.

Several major companies like Bosch, HAL, Mercedes visit the campus offering placements to the students and the Mercedes offers the placements, particularly for girls who have chosen mechanical engineering and they offer 1lakh of cash if they inspire other girls to choose mechanical engineering the highest package offered to the student as of my knowledge to our branch's student was about 15lakhs from the Flipkart the percentage of students getting placed in our department is around 40% which is relatively lower my plans after my completion of the degree is about to study in aviation.

The was fee was relatively good since I got in through cet which was about 112000 compared to the university entrance exam fee which is higher and since I got admission during the corona period the college gave us a rebate of 10 thousand which a good step from the institution as it was rough time the fee payment was made online during the 3rd year of my college I get a scholarship from the state welfare department as it is available for my caste there was no financial assistance and I haven't got a stipend or job placement as I am still in my 3rd year.

For every semester the college conducts a fest and technical fest called hackathon they are conducted throughout the month and at the final of the fest they call up a band or star to conduct a show on the availability of books and journals in our library is very good since there are 3 different libraries one in our admission block and 2 available in our branch building the social group run by the student are CSR group which conducts blood donation camps and other social activities, there is good infrastructure in college for sports and group activities there is a separate space for different sports.
