Remarks
The admission form is available on Banasthali's official website. In the admission corner, there is an application form available. For the B.Tech course, you have to go through the entrance exam and according to the rank, branches are assigned they even call you with the options available with your attained rank. The application fee is 800/-. There are at least 350 seats for the CSE branch, and 250 for the IT branch. The total number of seats available for the B.Tech course is 1000. The entrance exam is not that tough. If you have done your school exams well you will be able to clear the entrance test.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course will give you an overview of all the branches in the first year. After that maths, physics, and chemistry subjects will continue till the second year. After the second year, there will be pure computer and technology-related subjects. The faculty of every subject is not very good. There are some faculty that are excellent with a lot more experience. Some just don't take the classes seriously. But overall the faculty is very good. If you ask them they will clear every doubt of yours. All the teachers have done a Ph.D.
Internships Opportunities
Companies start visiting colleges at the start of 3rd year for two months of internship in May and June the roles offered are data Analyst, Software engineering, etc and the maximum stipend offered is 100000 per month. Then companies visit for 6 months' internship and then for placements most of the companies offer 6 month's internship and full-time employee offer and the maximum stipend offered is 41-42 lakhs. Google also visits Banasthali for the Data Science role. The companies visiting Banasthali college are Flipkart, Amazon, Cisco, Barclays, Salesforce, McKinsey, American Express, etc.
Placement Experience
Every student of B.Tech gets placed. There are lot many companies visiting Banasthali for placements. So after entering Banasthali you never need to worry about placements. After doing the degree most of the students continue doing jobs and some go for higher studies. Companies visiting Banasthali are Amazon, Flipkart, Salesforce, American Express, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, BD, Cisco, McKinsey, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee each year is around 2 lakh which includes the hostel fee of 50000. So the course takes around 8 lakhs in total. The college provided you with various scholarship opportunities depending on your financial conditions. And some talent-related scholarship opportunities are also accepted. Some teachers teach in Banasthali while doing their Ph.D. Internship companies start coming in 3rd year.
Campus Life
Life in Banasthali goes amazing with the purest environment. The shops, departments, and hostels all are available inside Banasthali. The college is much known for its Panchmukhi Shiksha which includes music, sports, dance, and physical and moral values. For each semester compulsory, you need to enroll in at least one activity. There are clubs for each course. The infrastructure is amazing. Hostels are well-cleaned. The only thing is food the messy food is not that good. But it is still much better than other colleges. The departments are well-equipped with the necessary accessories.
Hostel Facilities
You can only live outside Banasthali University if your parents live in Jaipur otherwise everyone has to live in the hostel. The hostel Life is amazing. Everything is well-cleaned and well-furnished. The messy food is okay but not that good. Non-veg is not made in the mess nor available in Banasthali canteens. Onion and garlic are used but not chicken.
