VIT Bhopal University review with Farhan

The admission process is pretty easy in VIT, As the students are aware that they have to appear for the VITEEE entrance examination for taking the admission to VIT, after the result announcement of VITEEE, based on the rank of the students the course choices are given to the students, Generally, fees structure varies based on the rank which is divided into categories, The courses structure and fees details are available at the official website of VIT. However, students who secure good ranks in VITEEE, are eligible for scholarship benefits, VIT has a different scholarship scheme for those students and they will be eligible for 100%, 50%, and 25% scholarships on tuition fees as per the rules of VIT, And the most important thing about the VITEEE is that if you secure good rank in the entrance examination then you will also be eligible for choosing the campus, Currently, there are four campuses of VIT available in India, In general, Vellore campus considered as the best campus of VIT.

I choose B. Tech with a specialization in Bioengineering because I am very inquisitive and passionate about medical instrumentation, Genetic Engineering, and Computational Biology. VIT Bhopal university is the first private university in India with 100% doctoral faculties, However, there are some exceptions, means some faculties have completed the master's degree only but that doesn't mean they have less knowledge about the subject, Currently, I am in my final year of the degree so I am pretty much aware and analyzed every faculty member, and they are very supportive as well. And teaching process at VIT is pretty much different, VIT Bhopal university follows FFCS (Fully Flexible Credit System) it allows students to choose their timetable and faculties in each semester according to their Interests, If three exams are occurring in a semester than we need to get in 80/200(50+50+100) marks, and if two exams are occurring then we need to get 60/150(50+100) marks for passing the sub.

VIT Bhopal offers enough Internship opportunities for the students, They will be provided with different Internships, and from the start of the third year itself students can apply for the Internships. Many Multinational companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. come for SDE and Consultancy roles, Students are shortlisted based on CGPA and Resume and will be eligible for further rounds, Stipend depends on the companies and roles it can vary from 10K to 1.5 LPM.

VIT Bhopal provides 100% placement for the students, at the end of the fourth year almost every student, who was interested in placement, is placed in a good company, The placement preparation starts at the end of the 3rd year of your degree, Every year more than 700 companies visit VIT for the recruitment process which makes VIT, a very good campus to study. MNCs like Microsoft, and Amazon. Texas Instruments, etc visit VIT every year, the highest package in the batch is 55 LPA till now, which was offered by Krypto, Some students were also selected by Microsoft with the annual package of 45lpa. The average CTC here would be 4LPA. And if you are not interested in Placement then there will be extra preparation provided by the VIT for taking admission in the post-graduation programs offered by various institutes outside the country on a scholarship basis.

Generally, students who secure good ranks in VITEEE entrance examination, those are eligible for the scholarship benefits offered by VIT Bhopal university. Basically fees hike in VIT varies according to the rank of the students, students who do not secure good rank, fees structure of those students little bit higher but it depends on the course choices, if you want to take admission in Computer Science and Engineering then it is pretty much obvious that your fees will be somewhat higher then other branches, If you secure good rank in VITEEE than you can be eligible for the 100% scholarship on your tuition fees, which is given under some conditions like your CGPA should be higher and equal to 9 in each semester for further continuation of the scholarship apart from this VIT also offers financial assistance for the lower income students, VIT Bhopal offers STARS scholarship for the rural students of Madhya Pradesh, Who secure 1st position in their district from the government schools.

Infrastructure wise college is pretty much well and Campus life is also good, you will be given equal opportunities in the sports field as well. There are different kind of clubs available in the college and you can join those clubs. There is a separate library inside the campus where you can find books according to your interest and it is a pretty peaceful place where you can fully concentrate on your work. Classrooms are well maintained here, Mess, Canteen and Medical facilities are good but we expect that they can be better. Annual fest ADVITYA is organized every year in which students can take part in technical and cultural competitions. Every month each club organizes some events, and sports facilities are available inside the campus, indoor games and as well as outdoor games.

Currently, there are three boys' hostels and one girls' hostel available inside the campus, they are fully constructed and the quality of facilities provided in the hostels is good enough. Two, Three, Four, Six and Eight bedded rooms are available with an AC/NON AC option, You can choose the rooms according to your budget, we are pretty much satisfied with the food provided in the hostel, The mess is hygienic. Medical facilities are a little bit good but they can be even better and food choices will also be better. You can also make a room outside the campus and live there, proper facilities are available here. The Registration process for the hostel is pretty much easier, you need to contact the concerned authorities and need to submit some documents at the time of registration.
