Remarks
Admission is done through the VITJEE national-level test. there are various btech courses offered by the College at different fees category. after the exam, students can sit for counselling and can choose the preferable course according to their preferable fee category. the overall admission process is very transparent and I don't think that it needs any further improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good for the branches but still, there are some irrelevant subjects in some of the semesters. Now, talking about the faculty - teachers here are very educated and have good knowledge about their specific subject. There are 3 sets of exams or tests per semester and there are 2 semesters per year-so it makes a total of 6 tests per year.
Internships Opportunities
I don't have much knowledge about this but as per my knowledge, there are not many internship offers. At the time of placement majority of people get internship offers and if they perform well then they are given job letters. and many major companies give internship offers at the time of placement.
Placement Experience
As per my knowledge placements are done in vit Vellore campus and almost every student is placed. the package may be less but still, almost everyone is placed. The lowest package may be as low as 3lpa and the highest package is approx 60lpa but still, everyone gets placed who sits for placement. my ambition is to do MBA after completing my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure depends on the category in which you were enrolled .there are no further scholarships or fee concessions as per my knowledge. My fee was around 4lpa and there are no other hidden fees except this as a whole.
Campus Life
Campus life here in vit is very good. There are many restrictions but still, I find college life is pretty good over here as compared to other colleges. Vit also organises various fest and programs throughout the year of which gravitas is a national-level fest. there are also many clubs approx 100 in which you can enrol and learn a lot. there are also many sporting events in which one can participate.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel here in VIT is very good and clean. Hostels are well maintained and cleaning is done regularly. all the basic facilities are available and it is also fully secured and has emergency medical services. now talking about the mess food- it is ok. Non-veg is served 3 times a week which is good and both North Indian and south Indian food is available.
