Admission to NIT Andhra Pradesh is based on the rank obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, which is a national-level engineering entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). I choose chemical engineering at NIT AP and one reason that many people choose chemical engineering is that it allows them to use their skills and knowledge to create new products and technologies that can improve people's lives and the world around us. Chemical engineers are involved in the design, development, and production of a wide range of products, including fuels, pharmaceuticals, plastics, and fertilizers. And all the faculty members are well qualified and they have done their Ph.D. from different IITs and NITs. If you are attending classes regularly then it's not that hard to get pass.

Many companies visited our campus with their pre-placement offer. Broadridge, Next-turn, TCS, Zeesta, etc. These are the companies that offered internship and placement offers. Apart from that, we can also apply for off-campus internships.

The average package of NIT AP is 6.6 LPA. And the highest package is 37.5 LPA. In the year 2021 more than 190 companies visited our campus. Last year out of 346 students 210 were placed. The top recruiters of NIT Andhra Pradesh are IBM, NBCC, Microchip, DLF, IIT Roorkee, DRDL, BHEL, and CSIR.

NIT Andhra Pradesh is a public technical and research university, and the fees for its programs are set by the government. Overall campus life is good. Various clubs in the institute are the Painting Club, Dance and Dramatics, Music Club, Nature Club, Center for Value Education, Forum of International Student’s Affairs, Science and Hobbies Club, and Literary and Debating Club to name a few.

Hostel rooms are specious, and they are assigned based on seniority for final-year students they provide single rooms. The hostel rooms are brand new. The hostel also has a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. I think the food is far better than other colleges' mess food.
