My life in NSUT.

The admission process was very easy. You get admission to a Btech degree based on your jee mains score. You get admission from the Jac Delhi website in NSUT. You have to score good percentile to get admission. Applications get live near around September. Jac Delhi also holds counseling applications for other colleges such as date, iiitd, etc so you can get admission to them also. But it takes time for the counseling process. You have to wait for 2 to 3 months to get admission.

I chose this course because I had an interest in computer science. Moreover, I think I can do better in this field rather than in other fields and the placement guarantee is also much higher in this field. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:100. Most of the faculty have done their Ph.D. from respective iits. And they teach according to old and conventional teaching methods. Exams are always on time i.e. after 2 2 months and they are much easy to clear.

Fees in NSUT are around 2 lakh rupees per annum with an increase of 10 percent every year. You can easily get scholarships from college based on your ranking in sections i.e., merit-based scholarships and even financial assistance scholarships are also there. But from the government, you can also get a scholarship like e district Delhi merit cum means scholarship and national scholarship schemes. Moreover other than scholarships you can also get education loans from state bank branches present in NSUT very easily. NSUT is much popular for its campus placements. In my branch, most of the students assuredly get a job and its rate is around 99 percent.

Moksha is the bigger fest in NSUT which is conducted around March. It includes all kinds of competitions and even special appearances. Resonance is the name of the smaller fest which is conducted around September. For all of the courses, you can get books and journals very easily from the central library of NSUT. About half of the classrooms are air-conditioned and are smart rooms. Sports day and marathons happen annually and occasionally every year on campus. Social societies are Ashwamedha and shakesjeer etc.
