The admission process was through JEE main exam. The cutoff was around 80k. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. One can apply to NSUT by filling out the JAC Delhi form that is available online. It also includes DTU and IIITD.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I found it interesting after studying about it on the internet and discussing it with by family and friends. The facilities were quite experienced and helpful. Most if them have Ph.D. Term exams happen quite often and medium-level preparation is enough to pass them.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available in the college. Although it's not that easy for the core branch students to crack the internship, especially the tech-related work. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Maruti, etc visited for internship.
Placement Experience
Placements are the heart of NSUT. Students from the 7th semester are eligible for the placements. Companies like Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, golds man, etc come to the college every year. Last year the highest offered package was 108L and more than 300 companies came. I also have a plan of getting placed after BTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees are affordable as compared to other colleges these days. Although the fee hike can be seen for every passing year at a considerable rate. The estimated cost to study is 850000 in NSUT removing the hostel charges.
Campus Life
College life is good, people are supportive and helpful. Moksha is the annual fest and it is entertaining and joyful to witness it. It is conducted in March, there are some tech fests conducted by the Tech societies of the college with some interesting rewards. A wide range if books are available in the library.
