Remarks

The eligibility of the course is 12th pass with science subject and get around under 20000/30000k rank in WBJEE or Jee main exams. The application form, application fees, and application dates find on the college website. No... Don't have any caste reservations. I didn't need any improvement in the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I had known about the field of study and I was very much interested in this field. The faculty-student ratio was 1: 50 which I feel is good enough. All faculty members had proper qualifications.

Internships Opportunities

As I am now in 2nd year so I have no experience with placement and internship. But our placement takes place in our college as well as in Techno India Main as our college is under the Techno India group. The main recruiters are TCS, INTEL, INFOSYS, CTS, etc.

Placement Experience

From the 7-semester placement starts in the college, they bring very few good companies but a problem is they don't have an on-campus placement because of campus size. Placement is offered in a pool of all the students from techno India salt lake.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no fee hike and the cost of study for 4 years was nearly 430000. I got an opportunity from college to work and got placed but still, I feel college can bring more companies into this job market a suggestion.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest that happens in June and a technical fest in June. Libraries are good they provide books so a student doesn't need to buy any books in his 4-year college life

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
