Remarks

Entrance exam : For eligibilty, a cutoff list for each course in all colleges under JAC DELHI is published according to the percentile/rank scored by each individual in JEE MAINS. Application forms are published on jee mains' official site, application fees can vary according to gender and other details of an individual. At my time (2021), for general / obc is rs1000 and for sc / st / pwd / transgender/female is rs800. All dates will be notified on jee mains' official site. Counseling process: a separate form for colleges in Delhi (NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, DSEU) will be available on the JAC Delhi official site. All the notices and fee structures will be pinned on the official site only. Once the form is filled, multiple rounds are held online for displaying the list, if a student got a seat then for confirmation, he/she has to pay some advance admission money which can be withdrawn if he/she doesn't want the seat and leave the counseling process before a certain deadline.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I was fascinated and focused on technology, coding, and development, so decided to pursue engineering in a computer-related stream to work and learn under my dream companies. In NUST, all the staff are properly managed and very good at working and interacting giving a good healthy environment for us. A 10:2 student ratio (approx.) is there. All the faculty members are highly qualified and have expertise in their respective subjects. All the classes are equipped with smartboards with a big lecture hall for the 1st years with all kinds of labs for research and experiment purposes. All the classes help with a practical class in a week giving us some practical knowledge of what we have learned till now. Some subjects are a little harder than other subjects and extensive reading of books and practice will be required to score good marks.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like Google, Microsoft, amazon, Zomato, and more, (the list can be accessed on nsut official website) visits the campus. Both the core/nontech and tech companies are there with SDE, research offers.

Placement Experience

4.5

More than 300+ visits our campus for internship and placement offers.Insternship seasson starts from sem 4 and Placement season starts from sem 6.Companies like Google ,Microsoft ,towerresearch, Amazon, Snapdeal ,Zomato and many more top companies.Acc to prev stat (2020) ,highest package was 1.1 Cr and average package of 12-14 lpa with more than 70-80% students offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

I feel the fees are a little higher than what they should be (2 LPA) increasing by about 10-15 k every year but multiple scholarships are there which can reduce our pains a little. OBS / EWS /ST /SC have separate scholarships, for other students, the top 5 % GPA scorers from each subject are given a scholarship on the teaching fees only. Scholarships like the Financial Assistance scheme by college, other scholarships provided by govt: CVSPK scholarship and more, which can be referred from govt official site (edistrict portal) and nsut.ac.in.

Campus Life

4.5

We got a very large campus of 145 acres with trees, a park, a gym, grounds, and more with exciting events happening all year around. Big events consisting of games, coding competitions, concerts, and more are held, a recent event was our MOKSHA. We go to a very big library consisting of every book you want and can be issued with your ID card. The classroom is equipped with proper wide desks and chairs with projectors and a smartboard for effective learning. Various sports events with proper equipment are available. There are several societies run by students like GDSC (google developer student club), DebSoC (for debating),IEEE , ARES (robotics society),Nakshatra (astronomy club),and many more

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
