Good for Placement

The addmisiom is based on the JEE-MAINS score, This exams is conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) and the exam fees is Rs. 1000 per exam for General/OBC students and Rs 500 for SC/ ST/ Female Students. This exam is conducted twice in a year and the better result form these exam is taken into consideration. Since the Netaji Subhas University of technology is a Delhi-based university. Therefore, it has 85% reservations for Delhi Students. I am an OBC candidate from which I can get some more benefits. For OBC benefit, I must have Delhi OBC Certificate.

I choose Computer Engineering because I was interested in Computer Science and this field is a very progressing field. The faculty: student ratio is about 1: 60 which is not that good. When we talk about the faculty, so the most of faculty staff is on a guest basis i.e there is a shortage of permanent professors in the university. The teaching method varies from faculty to faculty, Some faculty was brilliant in their teaching method but most of them are average. The course was divided into 8 semesters i.e 2 semesters annually. in a semester, there is 2 type of main exams Mid Semester and End Semester examination. Scoring in these exams was quite difficult i.e one can pass the exam easily but to score good marks there was a need for very much hard work.

Many companies visit the college for various roles like Technical roles, management roles, etc. The stipend may differ from company to company. The highest stipend is Rs 2 Lakh/month and the average stipend is about Rs 40, 000/ month.

For Internships, students in the 5th and 6th semesters are eligible and for Full Time, Students from the 7th and 8th semesters are eligible. More than 250 companies visit the college annually and offer decent packages. The Highest package for College is about 1.25 Crore and the Average package for College is 10 Lakh per year. In computer engineering, the average package is about 16 Lakh per year. Most of the students about 90 % should get a placement offer from the college. I also got an On- campus offer of 25 Lakh/year.

In 2019, total fees were about 7.8 Lakh and after 3 years in 2022, the fees were about 10 Lakh. The fees normally hike by 10% every year. The total cost to complete this course is about the college fees + if you take a hostel. This college is quite expensive. One can avail of some scholarships based on their Income status or Category Status. There are scholarships like MCM etc. There is some opportunity for students to Intern on campus. These offers come in 3rd Year mainly when many big corporates can come to campus to give these opportunities.

The annual fest is MOKSHA in which many big celebrities appeared every year. Apart from these, there are many fests happening throughout the year like Resonanz, etc. The library is very big and has a good collection of books and journals. In sports, there are teams for every sport in the college that can participate in different tournaments held at many levels. There were also some sports events like the Winter sports tournament and Hostel Tournament for normal college students. There is good infrastructure for Cricket, Football, basketball, etc. There is a shortage of infrastructure for Badminton, Pools etc.
