Remarks
For admission to the university, you need not pass any test. You just need to go to the office with all original documents of the 10th and 12th with some amount (min 100000) and you can get admission easily. If you want to join a special CS course like data science and AI then the fee will be 150000 per year. Note - They took original documents for 1 year if you took admission. Think twice before admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you are looking for a decent college then BBDU is good. The faculty is quite knowledgeable and helping nature. Most teachers are Mtech or PhD holders. Teaching methods are also good as compared to other colleges in Lucknow. Exams were easy no worries about that.
Internships Opportunities
If you want to do an internship then you have to go outside of campus because BBD charges 5000 for an on-campus internship which is not recommended at all. Shine your skill and try for an off-campus internship. On campus, APTRON is the company for internships which provides you with a certificate-only project is not good.
Placement Experience
From the 7th-semester companies start coming to campus. In 2022 the placement is very low. The main problem with this campus is that it has 3 other engineering colleges on the same campus so for the placement drive the eligible candidate count may be above 2000. 7 out of 10 Companies come with a bond of more than 2 years which is also a problem here. Even in some companies, BCA MCA students sit together with engineering students for placement. If you are an extraordinary student you can get 15LPA and the average is 3 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
As you know the fee is 125000 + hostel. You have to pay 62500 per semester. The chances of a hike in the fee are very very less. You can opt for the UP scholarship or Central Govt scholarship as well as per your eligibility criteria.
Campus Life
Each year there are many activities on the college campus. There are many cultural groups you can join free of cost and can perform on your own campus as well as on other campuses including several IITs and can win money prizes and certificates. In February month each other an event is organised by BBD management named college fest where some celebrity comes and perform. It's like a DJ night. You can also select sports as there is a separate ground for each sport.
Hostel Facilities
If you choose to live in the campus hostel then the fee will be 100000 per year which you have to pay on time. Food quality is not good as there is no one to listen to your problem. There is also a common bathroom which I don't like. You can also face wifi issues. And the most important restrictions you can't keep a bike, you have to come hostel before 8 pm, you can't keep any electronic gadgets, and you have to take permission each time when you want to go outside of the hostel.
