Overall i am happy to get a chance to admit in this college with my favourite course and department.

If I say about the admission process of MAKAUT I would say that if you give West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and you will get a good rank in that exam you will get a chance to apply for this college. In detail, I would say the rank of this exam will be between 2000. But it is not exactly happened every year but on average between this 2000 rank holders will get a chance for counseling for their specific courses. But in this college, there is also a tuition fee waiver facility available for some candidates but this facility also changed every year. For eligibility to admit to this course you should have a 10+2 degree and also a good rank in WBJEE. The WBJEE exam happens every year after the board examination. For applying this entrance exam you have to open wbjee.nic.in the website at a specific time and have applied for this examination. I am General in caste so I don't fulfill any reservation criteria but their reservation criteria are also available.

I choose this course because of the great college environment they provide and also the great atmosphere and also the nice syllabus for our overall course. The course is divided into 4 years and also each year consists of 2 Semesters one is odd and the other is even. In 1st semester they provide a simple syllabus which we covered before at our school level but it is given deeply in our college. So 1st semester was very easy and the teacher teach us that time was good for communication and also having suitable experience and skills. The other semesters well be designed with good industry-ready subjects like Operating Systems, Computer Networks, etc. Also, we learn some top languages for programming and also Data Structure, Algorithms, AI, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and other subjects. The teaching quality of the teachers was great, they only don't do lectures but also guide us on how to be ready for industry and how to work with new technologies and all. They also provide mentor support for us.

In our college placement, we offer on-campus, and also off-campus is available. The students will get a job on campus as well as off campus. We apply for jobs from the 5th to 6th semester. We also apply for internships in 3rd or 4th semester. For on-campus TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. companies are coming to campus for placement and also offer an average of 4 lakhs package per annum. For off-campus we can apply from LinkedIn and any other websites. On average 40 to 60 percent of students get placed every year. The teacher also helps us with placements.

The fee structure of this college is not very high it is medium but if someone has to get a reservation, they should not pay as much as me. It depends on their ranks and seats for the reservation category. I already mentioned that I am not from any reservation category so I have to pay differently from other candidates, who got a reservation. My fees structure is divided into 4 parts. The university provides us with many facilities like sports, games, a library, tuition fees, and other staff. I have to pay 75000 per year for college fees and an extra 40000 per year for hostel fees. We have to pay registration fees one time and dress code fees one time at the time of college admission. The college does not provide any scholarships on its own. But if we do a good result in 12th the West Bengal government provide a scholarship for this technical course every year. For this scholarship, we have to apply in the first year in the svmcm portal and we have to give all the details on that portal.

The life on campus is great. We find a great group of friends. In the college, there have many cultural committees and clubs. There are 2 coding clubs and one cultural committee. Every year college organizes a fest for every student. Also in our college, we organize Saraswati Puja, Biswakarma Puja, and other festivals. Every year college published students' journals and magazines. In college, we have one central library and one other library. Every year the college organizes annual sports and events and also organize a blood donation camp and other events. The classrooms of this college are great and clean. The pollution-free campus we get.

The hostel rooms are good and clean. The atmosphere of the hostel rooms is nice. And a great environment for studying. The hostel rooms consist of two beds and two chairs and two tables and also two almirahs for two separate candidates. The rooms are for two students. We get two times food and one time breakfast. The hostel in charge is also so polite. There are some restrictions. We don't have permission to go outside after 8 pm. For female hostelers, the same rules are given. We get our dinner between 8 to 9 pm. The foods are hygienic and also a menu routine is followed every day. One time egg and fish and chicken every week for one time. The hostel is also affordable for many students. There are also Wi-Fi facilities for every student.
